Life wouldn't be exist without carbon bonds

Life on earth would not be exist without Carbon because of its ability to form bonds with others atoms and new compound formed and different carbon containing compounds perform different functions which are important for our life.

When an organism takes up carbon containing (organic) molecules it can use for various functions, For example: when carbon molecules breaking down energy is released which can drive various cellular processes.

Another example is carbon molecules consumed and restructured to form useful biomolecules for the organism trive and grow.

When carbon bond with 2 oxygen molecules form carbondioxide which is very important for environment. Carbon between atmosphere,  oceans terrestial plants, biomass and soil is important for life.

Carbon is usually in the form of carbondioxide which is used by plants for photosynthesis if there were no carbon in atmosphere, plants would have no carbon source and die out.

Carbondioxide is also dissolved by oceans forming carbonic acid. Carbon is rapidly exchange between the oceans and the atmosphere in order to maintain equilibrium, it will release CO2  if atmospheric level drop, or dissolve CO2 from the atmospheric if level Increase.
Soil is a place of biological communities. Bacteria, archea, nematodes, fungi,  protozoa and many microscopic species.carbon is provided in the soil by produced by the plants. When plants release carbon into the soil via roots, which is known as exudation or when part of plant or the whole plant die, soil communities decompose the died part and from plant body release carbon which is consumed by soil communities is known as decomposition.

Carbondioxide also play role in global warming. Carbondioxide is a greenhouse gas and absorbs radiation and retains the temperature of the atmosphere around the earth.
